Bank chief defends role in crisis

Bank of England governor Mervyn King is defending his handling of the Northern Rock crisis in a crucial appearance in front of a panel of MPs.His job could be on the line, with discussions under way on whether to renew his five-year term in June.

ஏயம்மா. என்னா ஒரு சூப்பர் சிகாமணியா இருக்காங்க. நானும் உடற்பயிற்சி செய்றேன்னு சொல்லிக்கிட்டு லேஸ்லேஸா நான் நெளியறதப் பார்த்து எங்கவீட்டு ரங்கமணி கிண்டல் பண்ணாத நாளே இல்லை.

காலையில் ஐந்தரை மணிக்கு எழுந்து விடுவேன். ஒரு லிட்டர் பால் அடுப்பில் காய்ச்சும்போது, சில வார்ம் அப் க்களும், அனைத்து கழுத்துக்கான உடல் பயிற்சிகளையும் செய்து முடித்துவிடுவேன். பிறகு அரை டம்ளர் காபி, ஒரு மணி நேரம் கழித்து மூச்சு பயிற்சி. முதலில் வலது பக்கம் இழுந்து, இடது பக்கம் விடுவது. பிறகு இடது டூ வலது. பிறகு வலது பக்கம் இழுத்து, இடது பக்கம் விடுவது, இடதில் ஆரம்பித்து வலது விடுவது என்று ஒவ்வொன்றும் இருபது முறை

 இந்த லட்சணத்துல இப்படியொரு குறை வேற!

கடைசியாய் முழுக்க மூச்சை இழுத்து விடுவது. இது கணக்கு இல்லை,
பால்கனியில் காலை நேர சுகமாய் வீசும் காற்றில் சில நிமிடங்கள் உட்கார்ந்து இருப்பேன். அதுக்கு மேல் நேரம் ஏது?

Good question

I have to say that this society is so male oppressive. It is so biased against the men of the species that somebody ought to do something about it. A woman can stay at home, not work and she is called ‘adjusting’ and sacrificing. If a man wants to stay at home, he is irresponsible, effeminate, ‘dhanda soru’, and in general – a madman. Why the discrimination, I ask?

I honestly would like to have a gift free party for my child – but then I get into the issue of – is it my right to deny my child gifts from others?
